Congratulations to Wes Ragle of Weatherford, Texas, who’s VW Powered, Standard Gear Sonex (S/N 664) flew for the first time on September 23. The first flight was made by Kevin Ross, a friend and RV pilot who Wes has asked to be his test pilot. The Sonex handling qualities earned high praise from Kevin on that initial flight and Kevin commented several times about the smoothness of the AeroVee engine. A set of Gold Wings are on the way to Wes!
