Congratulations are in order for Gene DiVincenzo of North Lima, Ohio, who’s AeroVee Powered, Standard Gear Sonex (S/N 37) flew for the first time on October 18. “All went well and it flew great in all respects,” remarks Gene. “Thanks to all at Sonex who got me through the building process with a support team that never let me down. From the home front, my wife and family deserve most of the credit for supporting someone with that strange disease to build and fly.” Sonex #37 is Gene’s second homebuilt aircraft project. Gold Wings are on the way!
