The Teros UAS is featured in the latest video by the Experimental Aircraft Channel, who got a look at the two Teros platforms owned and operated by Mississippi State University’s Raspet Flight Research Laboratory. MSU owns and operates two Teros UAS platforms produced by Sonex and Navmar Applied Sciences Corp (NASC). Sonex is the airframer for two NASC UAS systems: Teros, derived from the Xenos Motorglider, and Tracer, derived from the SubSonex Personal Jet.

Sonex and NASC have been collaborating on uncrewed vehicles for over a decade with Sonex providing “rolling chassis” purpose-built airframes to NASC. NASC installs all of the electronics and payload integration, builds the mobile command centers to fly the aircraft from, conducts flight testing and handles all sales, crew training and flight services to the end-user customer. Last Fall, the MSU Teros fleet made news providing real-time data to FEMA’s response to Hurricane Helene: See the our October 9th press release.
