Sonex Aerospace is a design, development and manufacturing firm focused on the UAS marketplace and the exploration of other new market opportunities in aerospace. Via a Business Collaboration Agreement with Navmar Applied Sciences Corp. (NASC), Sonex Aerospace is currently developing the Teros Group 4 UAS, the Tigershark Block 4, and the SubSonex Twinjet UAS.
With roots in the experimental aircraft industry, via Sonex Aircraft LLC, we are heavily invested in R&D and have been designing, building, testing, selling and supporting manned aircraft systems since the early 1970’s. With many thousands of worldwide fleet hours to its credit, Sonex aircraft are light weight, strong and cost efficient with incredible performance and economy.
Sonex Aerospace UAS platforms are designed, engineered and produced in Oshkosh, WI at our facilities on the East side of Wittman Regional Airport, continuing the strong heritage of aerospace excellence synonymous with the name “Oshkosh.” Sonex Aircraft and Sonex Aerospace employ a lean & efficient staff of local talent, including fabrication and assembly crewmembers that are current Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic students of the Fox Valley Technical College S.J. Spanbauer Center, giving those students World-class hands-on experience available nowhere else.
