Congratulations to modeler Gary Smith for winning 2nd Place in the Designer Scale class at this year’s AMA Scale Nats National Aeromodeling Champtionship event in Muncie, Indiana in July! Gary’s Sonex model is 29% of a full-size Sonex with a 74″ wingspan. The model weighs 12 lbs gross with 6 LIPO packs on-board to power the aircraft’s electric propulsion package.
