Congratulations to Leonard Schmader of Sewalls Point, Florida, whose Standard-Gear Onex (S/N ONX0152) flew for the first time on April 28th! “The first flight was great,” writes Len. “no issues with the plane! I want to thank John Willson CFI, of Valkaria, Florida EAA 1288 for checking me out in a two place Sonex, and especially Mike Ketchpaw and the EAA members at Ft Pierce Florida, EAA chapter 908 for all their help in using their facilities to trailer the plane to for test flying. I built the trailer so that I can keep the plane in my garage, the plane gets 58 road miles on it for each flight.” Gold Wings are on the way!
