Congratulations to Jeff Cardwell of Stanthorpe, Queensland Australia whose standard gear, AeroVee powered Onex (S/N ONX0162) flew for the first time on October 6th! “We spent 1.3 hours aloft in the circuit area just getting a feel for the slippery little beast and giving the engine a good run as per the manual,” writes Jeff. “She didn’t miss a beat and improved noticeably over the flight. Thanks to the forbearance and encouragement of my wife Marjorie and occasional help from Kerry [Sonex Tech Support] the project nears completion. Now to complete the flight test program and have some fun.” Gold Wings are on the way!
