Waiex-B WXB0017
Hereby I like to report Waiex-B WXB0017 is complete and flew on 23 SEP 2018 for the first time in the skies over Wichita Falls, TX.
The Waiex-B is Aerovee Turbo powered and obivously in most fun Tailwheel configuration. I didnt put the fairings on or give it a pretty paintjob yet. It flies pretty nice with a nice crisp response to the aerobatic ailerons.
Despite that the day of the first flight started with marginal weather, it conluded with a successful first hour of flight time in my own built airplane powered by own built engine - This is amazing. Hard to beat that feeling - taking flight in N69YX.
