Sonex 1534
I flew Sonex N1534S for the first flight today March 8, 2015, at KWJF Lancaster California. The plane flew great and climbed very well. I spent an hour getting familiar with the handling in all phases of flight. Many thanks to my wife for understanding my Sonex addiction, All the folks at Sonex and to Gary Aldrich my EAA flight advisor, Steve Irving my EAA Tech Counselor, and the very helpful controllers in the Fox Airfield tower. Sonex 1534 is a taildragger equipped with an Aerovee, dual stick, Sandia Transponder, MGL EFIS Extreme w/ full AHRS, MGL V6 radio, panel mounted Garmin 295 GPS. Now I know what the Sonex grin is all about.
