Sonex 1072
Sonex 1072, an Aerovee powered tricycle gear flew for the first time today. The plane flew fantastic. It handled just like the factory prototype I flew during the Sonex Transition Flight Training. The plane flew out of Fulton County Airport in Atlanta. My EAA Flight Advisor flew chase in an RV4. My wife, Courtney provided ground support. After the first flight I adjusted the timing and took her up for a longer flight. Thank you Sonex for a fabulous aircraft design, kit package and top notch factory support.
