Sonex #0853 N629HD had it's first flight on Friday 6/7. It is tricycle gear with dual controls and powered by a Jabiru 3300. Builder is Henry Piper. Henry's son, Burt Piper, was the test pilot on the first flight. The airplane flew great, the engine was smooth and strong. Flew for about 1.2 hours getting accustomed to the controls and flight characteristics. Thanks to Dave Stevenson and Bruce Quinby for their tireless assistance with this project.
