Sonex N807ES took to the sky for the first time on Friday, 20 March 2009. The aircraft (S/N 700) has conventional gear and is powered by the Jabiru 3300. On take-off the tail was up in the blink of an eye and was airborne shortly thereafter. Many thanks go out to Kerry, Jeremy and the Sonex team for all their patience and support. Thanks also go out to Mike Singleton here in Houston for his invaluable help along the way. Texas is on their way to having quite a fleet of Sonex Aircraft – a testament to the excellent design, performance, affordability and support! We hope to see all of you at Air Venture this year!
