OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESS

Sonex Aircraft, LLC has finalized its corporate events calendar for 2007 and would like to advise our press contacts that we will not be exhibiting at the 2007 Sun ‘n Fun air show. The decision not to attend the 2007 show was weighed heavily by Sonex Aircraft, LLC management and staff and the decision has been made that Sun ‘n Fun no longer provides adequate return on the significant investment required to maintain our presence as an exhibitor. The Sonex exhibit team observed a drastic drop-off in Sun ‘n Fun attendance in 2006, following several years of more gradual decrease in qualified homebuilt consumer attendance.

We would like to stress that this decision has not been made by economic necessity, as Sonex Aircraft experienced record growth in sales over the past year. Our booth traffic and sales during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh has steadily increased, and hit record highs during the 2006 show. We will continue to focus our trade show exhibition efforts on AirVenture, which is the premiere exhibition event for the homebuilt aircraft industry, and is the reason that our facility is located in Oshkosh. The Sun ‘n Fun exhibition budget will be re-directed into a renewed advertising and promotional strategy which will include broader-based advertising of Sonex and AeroConversions products and emphasis on Sonex Aircraft, LLC fly-in events hosted at the Sonex facility in Oshkosh, WI.

In addition to our regular Builder Workshop schedule, Sonex Aircraft, LLC will be holding two annual fly-in events every year. On June 9, 2007, we will be hosting the Sonex Aircraft Homecoming Fly-In. This event will be our 4th Homecoming Fly-In, moved to a new June date in order to better position it as an annual pilgrimage for Sonex builders and prospectives for years to come. On July 22, 2007 we will be holding the 4th annual Sonex Aircraft Open House Fly-In. Held one day prior to EAA AirVenture Oshkosh, the Open House is a great opportunity for prospective builders to tour our facilities, for Sonex pilots flying-in to AirVenture to gather before taxiing to the show grounds, and for members of the press to immerse themselves in everything Sonex. Sonex Aircraft, LLC also holds three Builder Workshops throughout the year. Sonex Workshops are weekend-long events allowing prospective builders to learn as much as possible about all aspects of Sonex Aircraft and AeroConversions products, learn Sonex-specific construction techniques and build an introductory metal working project. Customers are eligible to receive a discount on the purchase of plans and Complete Airframe Kits when they attend a Sonex Workshop. Our October 7-8, 2006 Workshop is filled to capacity, and we may expand the workshop schedule in future years as demand steadily increases.

Although we realize that not attending Sun ‘n Fun eliminates an opportunity to meet in-person with the aviation press, we will continue to regularly distribute press releases as news about our company develops, and we would like to extend an open invitation to all members of the press to visit us here in Oshkosh and receive our undivided attention and support. As we have with all other regional fly-ins such as Arlington or Copperstate, we will support a continued grass-roots presence at Sun ‘n Fun by our current customers and their events will be published on the Builders’ Events page of our web site. Not attending Sun ‘n Fun is an obvious break with tradition in our industry, however, we feel strongly that the show is losing is effectiveness for us as an exhibitor.
