The ETX680, ETX680C and the ETX900 will fit into most of your existing PC680 Odyssey hardware battery boxes (fit is not guaranteed). You will gain a significant amount of cranking amps and drop 11+ pounds instantly by switching from a lead acid battery to the EarthX lithium battery. The ETX900 was developed for the pilot that wants more cranking amps or capacity due to flying in the cold or for long distance flying. We also have the ETX1200 in a slightly larger case that has over 1,200 cranking amps and 24.8 amps of usable capacity! In addition to the new physical size of these models, they also come with redundant electronics on the BMS board and have an LED battery fault light indicator. EarthX aircraft batteries meet the requirements set forth by Sonex Aircraft, for all Sonex engine installations, and for the AeroConversions AeroVee line of engines for use on any airframe as an approved lithium battery which is over discharge protection, over charge protection, short circuit protection, and excessive cranking protection (temperature sensing) in addition to integrated cell balancing technology.
